Dutch Co-operative CRV Takes The Choice for Lawson for Food & Beverage 10.1
Industry-specific enterprise solution will provide global consolidation of information and transparency over the complete supply chain

London, Nov 23, 2010 – Lawson Software announced today that CRV Holding selected the Lawson for Food & Beverage solution to replace its several separate legacy software systems, to drive business efficiency and to support the company internationalisation. CRV will use the industry-specific solution from Lawson for the major areas finance, supply chain management, manufacturing execution, procurement, customer relationship management, service management, business intelligence and analytics. In addition the company will implement the Lawson Learning Accelerator, a Lawson solution designed to improve adoption of Lawson applications and help customers gain the most from their ERP investment.

CRV with headquarter in Arnhem, Netherlands, is a global enterprise with 2000 employees and works in the field of cattle improvement with operations in the Netherlands, Belgium, Brazil, New Zealand, the USA, the Czech Republic, Australia, Luxembourg, Germany and Spain. In addition to these countries the products and services of CRV are marketed in approximately 50 countries worldwide. The shareholders are the Dutch Co-operative CR Delta and the Flemish Co-operative VRV. The cattle improvement industry involves the development, production and sale of genetic products like semen and embryos and digital information products. The implementation project at CRV started in September with development of a global template as the foundation for the new system according to StepWise, the Lawson implementation methodology. This template will be identical for all business units at CRV, the first go live is planned for the Benelux with future roll-out globally. Approximately 500 users will work with the Lawson solution.
